BUDGET: Between 5 crore INR and 9.99 crore INR (More than USD672,000 but less than USD1.35 million)

Project Overview
SI designed a technology-driven operations hub supporting PwC’s strategic offshore engagement for PepsiCo. The facility includes a 31-seat Command Centre, two War Rooms, and a Boardroom, creating a unified environment for real-time monitoring, faster decision-making, and seamless collaboration.
The design focused on delivering a resilient, intuitive workspace where every operator can easily view, communicate, and respond without distraction. An integrated AV-over-IP ecosystem brings together large-format visualization, intelligent collaboration, voice-lift communication, centralized control, and always-on connectivity, enabling the entire facility to function as one coordinated command environment.
Key features include a 314-inch, 1.2 mm COB Active LED video wall, Lightware 1G AV-over-IP with integrated KVM across all operator stations, voice-lift technology for clear communication, always-on video conferencing, intelligent speaker- and presenter-tracking cameras, and centralized AV automation.
The completed solution delivers a future-ready Command Centre that enhances operational efficiency, improves collaboration, and enables faster, informed decision-making while setting a new benchmark for mission-critical workplace environments.
What did the client want to achieve?
The primary objective was to create a next-generation Command Centre that enables PwC to monitor, analyse, and respond to critical operational information for PepsiCo in real time. The facility was designed to foster seamless collaboration across 31 operators, allowing teams to share information instantly on a common visual platform while maintaining continuous connectivity with other command centres through always-on video conferencing.
The solution comprises a 31-seat Command Centre, two dedicated War Rooms for focused collaboration and incident management, and an executive Boardroom for leadership reviews and stakeholder briefings.
The design was driven by five key goals: enabling rapid collective decision-making across all operator positions; establishing continuous collaboration between geographically distributed command centres; delivering clear, natural communication through voice-lift technology; providing any operator with instant content sharing and integrated KVM access to the main LED wall; and creating a centrally managed, highly resilient AV platform that ensures reliable, uninterrupted operations for mission-critical environments.
Scope of work your company was involved in
SI delivered a comprehensive end-to-end consultancy, guiding the project from initial concept through commissioning and final handover.
01. AV & Operations Strategy: Developed the overall AV architecture, including AV-over-IP distribution, KVM workflow, voice-lift strategy, equipment specifications, and budget planning to deliver a scalable, high-performance solution.
02. Acoustic Performance: Worked closely with the acoustic consultant to define RT60 targets and treatment strategies, ensuring excellent speech intelligibility and consistent voice-lift performance throughout the Command Centre.
03. Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Coordinated with architects, interior contractors, and specialist consultants to integrate AV requirements, covering sightlines, acoustics, structural provisions, power, cable pathways, and network infrastructure.
04. Technical Review & Implementation Oversight: Supported PwC during AV vendor evaluation and integrator selection, followed by detailed shop drawing reviews, site inspections, and quality assurance throughout implementation.
05. Commissioning & Handover: Led comprehensive testing and commissioning of all AV systems, validating voice-lift,AV-over-IP, KVM, video conferencing, and overall system integration to ensure complete operational readiness.
What key challenges were faced?
Designing PwC’s Command Centre required balancing mission-critical operations, advanced AV technologies, and seamless collaboration within a highly resilient environment.
Instant Collective Decision-Making: The facility had to enable all 31 operators to simultaneously view, discuss, and act on critical information without relying on one-to-one coordination.
Acoustics & Voice-Lift: The open-plan workspace required carefully controlled acoustics to deliver clear speech, effective voice-lift, and fatigue-free communication without echo or feedback.
Intelligent Hybrid Meetings: Automated speaker- and presenter-tracking cameras were required to provide a seamless experience for remote participants without manual intervention.
Inter-Command Centre Collaboration: Continuous video conferencing was essential to connect multiple command centres while maintaining natural communication and operational focus.
Mission-Critical Reliability: The system had to deliver high availability, intuitive one-touch operation, and centralized management, enabling smooth transitions between monitoring, collaboration, and executive briefing modes while ensuring uninterrupted daily operations.
How were those challenges resolved?
31-Seat Command Centre
A voice-lift solution using Shure MXA920 ceiling microphones and a Biamp Tesira DSP ensures natural, intelligible communication across the open floor.
Always-On Collaboration
A Cisco Room Kit EQ platform provides persistent video conferencing between PwC command centres, enabling simultaneous local and remote collaboration without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Acoustic Performance
Working with the acoustic consultant, SI optimized RT60 levels and integrated DSP-based echo cancellation and gain management to deliver clear, feedback-free voice reinforcement throughout the space.
War Rooms & Boardroom
Two War Rooms and an executive Boardroom were integrated into the same AV-over-IP backbone, enabling seamless content sharing and collaboration across all operational zones.
Intelligent Camera Tracking
Lumens AI-powered tracking cameras automatically follow speakers and presenters, delivering broadcast-quality video for hybrid meetings without manual intervention.
System Integration
Executed the installation and commissioning of the complete AV, KVM, conferencing, and control systems based on delivering a resilient, fully integrated command environment.
How has your work helped the client?
SI’s integrated AV design transformed the PwC Command Centre into a high-performance operations environment that accelerates decision-making and elevates collaboration. Through the seamless combination of large-format shared visualization, floor-wide voice lift, AV-over-IP content sharing with KVM, always-on inter-command-centre conferencing, and intelligent camera tracking, the entire 31-member team now operates as a single coordinated unit. Operators can share information instantly, communicate naturally across an open floor, and engage remote teams continuously—enabling faster, better-informed responses for their customer, PwC. The centralized, resilient design simplifies daily operation, supports flexible use across monitoring, briefing, and conferencing scenarios, and reinforces PwC’s position as a technology-forward, operationally excellent organisation.
